[Its running +30sec,per24hrs.what could it be?Should I take it
to busa?How much to fix it.It's not under warranty.Also if I take
it to busa how long would it take get my baby back??

If the watch is around 5 years or so old then it likely needs servicing - I think BUSA is currently running about 6 - 8 weeks for a service - maybe slightly more. They'll assess it and provide you with an estimate of the cost - reckon on $500 or so if there is nothing major wrong.

However, if the watch is only just out of warranty then you may simply need to get it regulated - your AD should be able to do it and will charge you minimally (if at all).

How old is your Evo?

MY evo is a 06. A few ad's over here said i ned to send it to busa.
They don't want to touch it. I got this evo from a pawnshop/jewlrey
store with no papers.

How bout some pictures? Does it have its serial number intact?

It may be magnetized. Any high end watch shop should be able to degause (sp?) the watch for very little money and if it works its a very cheap fix.

I've given the serial# to busa it's 100%real.Now what is
magnetized?what's the fix for that?Like i said before ad's
are not helping{maybe because i didn't buy it from them}
If i don't need to send it to busa for 8 weeks that'll be great.

Magnetized is exactly what it sounds like. The watch may have come into close contact with a magnet or electrical field. Metal of the watch (more importantly the hair spring) becomes, in essence, a magnet and can speed up the movement. Easy fix at a watchmaker / watch repair shop. They simply place the watch in a DE-magnetizer and TAH DAH... done. Shouldnt cost anything more than $25 USD.

Now in regards to any AD not helping. If the watch is legit and has its serial, they are supposed to help get the watch serviced by BUSA even if you didnt buy it there. If you still need to send it in after trying the de-magnetizing, call BUSA directly and do what they tell you to do.

I don't think it's magnetised - not at +30secs in 24 hours.

If it is then it's very slight, you would expect to see multiple minute gains for being magnetised.

Either way, there is no reason for an AD not to either degauss or regulate it just because you didn't buy it from them.

Just came back from touneau[white plains]after talking with rep they agreed to demagnetize
it.It's running -2sec.At frist they wanted to send to busa.I had to talk to the manager so he
can ok it.It was free of charge'not to bad.thanks for the help everyone..

Cool - that's a very slight magnetism, so be conscious of what might have caused it - don't keep your watch near a cell phone overnight for example.

I'm a little surprised that they didn't offer to regulate it at the same time to get it spot on.

Service for a chronograph from Breitling costs about $700.00 and takes 6-8 weeks. New hands must be purchased because the old ones will not function properly if they are re-used. That is $100.00 right there. Good luck with your decision. Personally if it is losing 30 seconds a day
I wouldn't worry about it. Save yourself $700.00.

great topic,mine is the same although not seconds but several minutes over 24 hours,so i think i'll have my watch guy demagnetise it as a first step,i did regulate it myself and it is now all the way to the left position on the minus scale and still fast!.



no comments please about doing that myself!,heard it all before,it's not a big deal and the watch was bought for only £400
and confirmed genuine at AD,if it worked ok if i didn't at worst it goes to Breitling for a £280 service as quoted.
so all in all £400 + £280 = £680 for a b13050.1 aint too bad is it.
