I am thinking about purchasing my first Breitling in the near future. I am looking at the Navitimer series and I would like to ask you a few questions:

1.) What is the lifespan on the Navitimers?
2.) What service work if any will there be on the Navitimer?
3.) Which Navitimer should I get?
4.) For anyone who owns a Navitimer, what's the best and worst thing about the Navitimer?

1.) I have some 50+ year olds. Look after them and they'll last 'forerver'

2.) A regular service will be required approximately every 5 years - factor $500 or so

3.) Try them on, and get the one that calls to you - no one can tell you what that will be

4.) - Best - would take way too long to list ( ). Worst, not waterproof enough for watersports / showering.
