Well, just send my first Breitling Super Avenger II - less than year old for the warranty repairs.
In my case little hand on the low center dial fell off and is free-floating under the glass.
I expect a lot more from the 'action' watch manufacturer like Breitling. 2 of my Eco-Drives by Citizen still humming no issues.
Shame on Breitling for being less reliable that watch 20 times cheaper.
Also they told me that it might take them 8 week to repair - so I spend money and cannot wear my purchase because they slow to fix the problem?
I don't like that customer support...

Are Breitling Super Avenger II's reliable?
I send my Super Avenger II for the warranty repairs. It is less than year old and I was careful with it. Not baby-sitting, but not banging around either..

When I start researching my next steps I found no clear instructions on Breitling web site. Local dealer I visit was all to happy to collect money for maintenance\polish but became way less exited when learn that I need help with warranty. He even suggested to ship watch to Breitling on my own. Also they told me that it might take them 8 week to repair - is that a realistic term?
I'll hate to stay without my watch 2 month out of 10 I own my Breitling Super Awenger II so far.
That is my review - nice watch - while they work. Overpriced with expectation of infinite reliability but failing that expectation. Customer service is C or C- so far. I'll keep you posted...

Welcome to BreitlingSource. I have merged your separate posts into their own thread in the right area, please don't double post.

These are mechanical watches and they can have problems - that's why you have a warranty. No brand is immune from that and with luck it will be a simple fix - a hand often is. In terms of service turnaround, warranty work is given priority and 8 weeks sounds like longer than usual, but as you haven't told us where you are it's difficult to be more specific on the regional repair centre.

Well,

My SAII Military is now back to BUK for the second time in 3 months! Only bought in November, started gaining 60 minutes per day and crown/stem unreliable in engaging to adjust time. Returned from BUK after 5 weeks. Worn twice. Noticed that date wheel was sticking between dates. Crown/stem seems very 'tight' in adjusting time and quickset date change doesn't often engage.

Never had an issue with my Superocean or my Seawolf. This SAII seems to be either incredibly unreliable or extremely fragile.
