Hi all, I'm Raffaello from Italy. I recently purchased a breitling navitimer cosmonaute aurora 7 limited edition and I noticed that sometimes when I start the chronograph the chrono minute hand jumps directly on the first minute mark. This happens only sometimes and apart this the watch works flawlessly... Does someone nave experienced the same issue. Does it need to be repaired? Thanks

Hmm, haven't heard that issue before... I would bring it to my AD to get it checked out. You have a 5 year warranty on the watch.

Common feature of non column wheel chronographs, but shouldn't be happening on the B02, definitely needs checking out

That should happen only when you press harder on the push stem at 3. It is common as well with column wheel chronographs. The reset stem however brings the hand back to 0.
I have experienced this with older mechanical chronographs (ie. Lemania 2310) and even newer automatic chronographs (El Primero 430 / 430Z). Since your watch is 3 yrs old, and still in warranty, i would definitely see the AD.

Yes I agree... The only problem is that I don't know how to show the problem to the AD cause I'm not able to make this happen always... I was thinking to wait till the end of the warranty to solve the problem and get also a service for free. Do you think that the problem can get worse with the time and the use?

You shouldn't have to 'prove' the fault to the AD, explaining that it is intermittent should be enough. Without knowing the cause it's guesswork around whether it will get worse if left alone.

Yes I agree also because the problem seems more frequent now. I checked around on internet and seems that other peeople experienced the same problem with the b01 that's quite similar to my one. Today I'll bring the watch to my AD and let you know hoping Breitling solve my problem. The watch was bought only one week ago...
