So I just purchased a preowned watch (Breitling Colt Chronograph II), and I'm losing anywhere between 4 and 8 seconds per hour. I think it's a mechanical issue, but I'm not sure if it's anything I can fix on my own. Would it be worth trying or would it make more sense to just send it out? (fyi VERY new to owning watches, but love them unconditionally!).

You are not going to be able to fix it yourself, it needs Breitling service attention.
