 Post subject: Crown Fell Off....

Yea...

I wound up my Super Avenger to get it going again, pulled the crown out to set the time, and *POP* the crown fell off... Also, there was some surface rust under where the crown should have still been attached.

This did not make me happy.

Is this something an AD should be able to repair in the store, or am I looking at having to send it out to Breitling?

If your AD has a watchmaker in site then they may be able to do it depending on what they think the cause is. You will also want the gaskets inspected if it is rust underneath to ensure that there isn't a problem with water getting in.
