Well unless you managte to find one on eBay you are going to have to go through Breitling. Also, unless any dial that you find outside of Breitling is identical to the original Breitling will refuse to touch the watch after a dial change.

It's ok i wanna do it my self
I just looking for new dial
And frankly I don't care if it's OEM or not
I just want it to fit .

Someone tell me the crosswind dial will fit, what u think?

I've never personally seen an aftermarket dial for any Breitling (that wasn't already inside an 'aftermarket Breitling']. My assumption is that there isn't much money in it as most Breitling owners seem to prefer to go the OEM route, for better or worse. Breitling is exceptionally strict with parts, and despite for whatever reason that may be, it makes getting replacement parts difficult. eBay and patience will probably be the best bet. Maybe even watch forums but I've rarely seen this model for sale, and never seen parts for it (again, me personally). There are also people who can make dials for you, but I imagine that: 1) it would get expensive really fast, 2) they would have a hard time making it look like a match, and 3) it's fitment will probably not be as nice as OEM. With the amount of time and effort added to the physical costs, and the chance that an aftermarket job may not look as good as you would like, it may be worth just going through Breitling so you know the end will turn out good. If nothing else, an estimate may give you a baseline to compare.


edit: and according to BS, the Crosswind dial is over 2mm larger than your watch.

A lot because you also have to have a full service. It's cheaper with older pieces, but still reckon on the best part of $1,000.

Usual advice is to find the watch with the dial you want on eBay/Chono24/forums etc and then sell your current watch. Much, much cheaper than a dial change.

That makes sense...I am guessing also by what you guys have said that if you change a dial out in a Breitling that it hurts potential resale value as well?

Unless Breitling does it the watch is essentially worthless because Breitling will refuse to touch it.

There is a decent chance Breitling has a dial in stock, depending how old the Chronomat is. They run about $350 for the part. Any AD with Breitling certified watchmaker can order and install it and might do so without a full service. And no a Crosswind dial will not fit.
