I have a buddy that has a Bentley 6.75. He's had it since '05, and i mentioned to him that it was perhaps time to get it serviced. My question is, should he get a normal service or an overhaul? Is there a difference? Also, does anyone know typically how much it would cost to do something like this? Also crystal replacement bc he has some scuffs on it. Thanks.

Costs are listed on the Breitling website once you have selected the location under maintenance centres (pdf document) - that's probably the best place to check as you haven't said where you are.

After 7 years it will need a full overhaul because a maintenance service won't replace all of the oils, just the escapement related ones.

... and it will come back looking and working like new with a 12 months warranty!

so i found the price list. since i know nothing about these watches, what type of watch is the 6.75...eg QUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH, QUARTZ/MULTIFUNCTION QUARTZ WATCH. are these prices also consistent with the Bentley line? Also, im in the US, but i didnt see different pdf's for different countries, just one. is this in USD?

There are separate pdfs for every country - you just see the one for the coutry that you chose, so yes it is in USD.

The 6.75 is a self-winding chronograph so $560 in the US. You'll also have the cost of replacement hands so total cost will be in the $650 - $700 range.

Ok, cool. now the list doesnt have price of a new crystal. Is that a price that id have to get from breitling directly? Also, for future reference, i have a Bentley Motors T Speed...is that a self-winding chronograph as well?

Crystal is not a maintenance replacement, if it needs replacing then Breitling will quote separately. Motors T is a self winding chronograph:

Self winding = automatic
Chronograph = stop watch / pushers on the side
