Hi all,

Kind of did a stupid thing on the weekend

Was wearing my Datora which has a black calf leather strap with white stiching when I slipped on some very soggy ground.
The hands went down to break the fall & the watch had quite a bit of mud attach itself.

The watch is fine, but the strap had mud on it. I was wondering if there was a preferred method to clean this as I don't really want to soak, or rub the strap as I fear this may do more damage than good.
I'd really like to get the clean stiching look back & restore the clean look of the leather.

Any thoughts, all appreciated?

You can clean the stitching with soap and water, just be gentle with it so that you don't damage the thread. Try to avoid soaking the strap and let it dry naturally and you should be fine.
