Hi everyone,

I just happen to find your great site. Much more information than on the official site.

Since Jan 27, I am the proud owner of a two-tone Pearl Chronomat B01 with roman numbers.

Although I have loved Breitling watches since forever, I am still a novice.

So, maybe someone can tell me what does the REF number 1B0110 at the back of my Chronomat exactly mean? I understand that it has to do to with the type of the case and the movement (Caliber) for each Breitling watch. The other number, of course, at the back being the serial number.

I wasn't aware that the B01 was different, but I assume that the logic is the same - 1 for case material, B01 for the calibre and the 10 relating to the model. Looks like they aren't distinguishing between COSC and non any more, likely as all Breitlings have been COSC for the last 10 years or so.

Hi and welcome as well. You say your B01 is a TT and that the first digit of the reference number is a 1. Specifically, what parts of the watch are gold if you don't mind?

Well, the case is in steel and the screws and the four hour-markers on the bezel as well as the crown and pushpieces are in gold. The hands and roman numerals are also in gold.
