The main pros for a buckle are that it is much cheaper, and as the metal area is smaller you're less likely to scratch it. However, with a tang buckle you have to rely on the pre-made holes for your fit and also the strap takes more damage when you take the watch on/off. That damage will reduce the strap life.
The main pros for a deployant are the indefinite fitting options and that you will extend the strap life considerably. The deployant is much more expensive though and as it has a large metal area you can scratch it easier if you're not careful.
Regarding wearing comfort they are the same (in my opinion) if you manage to get a good fit with the tang buckle.
I would go for the deployant, every time.
