Seems like the collection is always in a state of flux. I sold my gold Navitimer 806 and also the restored Ref 1193 and have picked up a Ref 1188 this week. Took a pic this morning.

Indeed, that is a very beautiful collection. Out of curiosity, when you buy vintage Lings and fix them up and what not... when you resell them.. do you usually make money, lose money or break even in the long run?

It really depends on the watch. I've made a few dollars off of the popular vintage Copilot's, AVI's, and Navitimer's by buying them unrestored and fixing what needs fixed. You need a good watchmaker though and I have a few different ones I use based upon what I need done and how fast. I sold my fully restored Ref 1193 last week and lost money because it required a lot of work. At the half way point I knew it was going to get expensive but when it's laying all over someone's work bench what choice is there. Might as well do it.

I love your collection. I would like to have a vintage B or two but I think it is a thing that may be best left to the real collectors with the proper connections. For now I will just appreciate your collection!!
