seller matsuko78 (111) is selling this 1940's chrono. isn't there supposed to be a breitling logo etched on the bridge. don't see one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 2759.l1259

I would imagine the location of this watch (Uruguay) would speak volumes as to its aunthecity.
I will post the pics and I am sure the experts will give us their opinions.

The lack of Breitling on the bridge doesn't bother me - they often didn't in watches of this age.

I am rather more concerned about HXW on the balance cock - indicates that the movement was made for some company by the name of Joseph Boillat, fils, Louis.

That + Uruguay = Nuff said!
