So I was looking for some other sources on where to buy Breitling (I just googled Breitling) and I noticed that Amazon.com has some sellers offering some fine wares. I don't really know about the prices on current models but I DID notice that there is one vendor that has a few NOS vintage pieces from the 70's. Anybody have any experience? Any input always appreciated. |

If you think on Old World Jewelers, they are legit... http://www.ewatchshow.com/browse/watch-nos/1 |

Old World Jewelers is extremely trustworthy. Prices aren't wonderful because it's NOS, but trust them completely and the prices aren't ridiculous (in most cases). |

Yeah, I did notice that Amazon does have many Breitlings for sale through third party vendors. I think PrestigeTime is one of them. (has a banner at the top of this forum) One thing I'm wondering, though... Govberg states on their website that Breitling specifically prohibits authorized vendors from showing pictures and information on the internet. It does seem to be a minefield to track down a good watch vendor, that is authorized. I'm only aware of a couple that people here recommend. |

Don't get confused between three different types of seller. Old World, that we are discussing here, only deals with vintage pieces - either NOS or used - we are talking 30+ years old. Govberg is an AD for current issue Breitlings and is recommended by a number of people here. Prestige Time is a grey market dealer of current pieces. They are not authorised by Breitling to sell pieces, instead they buy from ADs and sell on, without the Breitling warranty. |

Good to know... I'm always trying to discern who is an authorized dealer, who isn't, and who (if anybody) to stay away from completely. Thanks! |
