Can someone explain to me(because I don't know) how this one is an automatic movement? I don't see the rotor... Looks nice though. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-S-S-BREITLING-CHRONO-MATIC-CHRONOGRAPH-CAL-112_W0QQitemZ170316256847QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL?hash=item170316256847&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1326%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A2%7C294%3A50 |

It's a micro-rotor hidden under the chronograph modul. Nothing wrong here ![]() Cheers Jarl www.classicheuers.blogspot.com |

As Jarl says, this is the Breitling 11 series automatic (developed in conjunction with Heuer which is one reason why Jarl is so familiar with it) and it's exactly what a late 60s / early 70s Breitling automatic chronograph should look like. The watch isn't perfect though. The chrono seconds hand is a replacement, and the main hour and minute hands also look off, but without a head on shot it's hard to tell for sure. Also not sure about the date wheel - it should be black or bright red, this could be black, but looks dark red in some photos, again not sure why there isn't a head on shot of the dial. |
