Quick back story, I've come back to looking at watches etc by the happenstance of coming across an aircraft clock, which led me down vintage aircraft clocks. This particular clock was labeled Breitling Wakmann. I read and understand the relationship Wakmann had with Breitling back in the late 40s and early 50s.

An article I was reading (I think fratello) last night discussed that there was at least one cobranded watch with Wakmann. I believe it was ref 765 premier?

Anyone have any clue as to how many of these were produced? Are they sought after at any level? Or a 1 off weird piece with little to no interest?

Do many come up for sale? It would be a nice addition to sit next to my Aircraft Clocks co labeled. So just curious

Thanks

no rarity at all. Wakmann was Breitling's US distributor from 1947 onwards; these cockpit chronographs were co-designed according to Pan Am specs by Breitling and Wakmann and standard cockpit equipment for Boeing 707 and Douglas DC-8.

I think he's talking about the dual logo 765 as shown here Fred. They are pretty rare but don't think they have any extra value over a regular 765.

That’s correct was talking about the watch, not the clock. Wasn’t really looking at if vakue was greater or such, I guess maybe if value was at least equal as it’s kind of a match or connection to the aircraft clocks I have .

I've had a couple of the Breitling aircraft clocks over the years but this one was my favorite.
