Hi all, I'm very interested in this example of a Chronomat ref. 808 but I'm seeing some bits of rust on the case - mostly on the caseback near the pushers/lugs, but also on the back one of the lugs and around the edge of the movement when the caseback is removed. Would this be enough to prevent you from buying it? Thanks! It’s mostly dirt which will come off in ultrasonic cleaning, but that little bit in the first photo on the caseback might be a tiny spot of rust ( could just be gunk too), wouldn’t concern me personally. Could be cleaned up and minimised. |
