Can anyone show me a photo of an original strap that was issued with the 1965 Breitling AVI 765 CP or at least give me some info on it? I'd like to get something crafted for my CP that would be close to it.

Looks like there was no specific strap

Adverts suggest that at least a black lizard strap on your model, and a black calf on the earlier one.
