Hi Everyone, My name is Brad, I'm a new member. I'm mostly a vintage Seiko collector, but more and more I've branched into vintage Omega, Breitling and other brands. You can see my collection on my Instagram if you're curious: https://www.instagram.com/bradurani/ My one Breitling is a 1969 Chrono-Matic 2116 Calibre 11 LE 18k. Question for the forum: - Can you recommend someone to service it? The timegrapher trace isn't great, I think it's time - Can the sweep hand be repainted? It's original, but it has faded from its original orange, which subtracts from the visual pop of the watch. Could a good restorer repaint it, or can I find a NOS replacement? It can be repainted or replaced. You can find them on eBay. If you say where you are located it will help find a service recommendation. |
