I have a working Top Time 810, hardly been worn but no case or paperwork so I am trying to find out more about this lovely watch.

Would appreciate if someone can give me more information on it. Does it look like it's been repaired with different hands?

It looks perfectly correct and nice.

Yours is a rarer but correct variant. The hands are painted white, and goes correctly with the black dial (one luminescent mark at 12) and a case with curved lugs, not straight.

Given that insurance is normally a jump higher than the actual value, I’d suggest £4K €5k $6k

Thanks for that, is it worth getting it professionally cleaned?
Also I noticed a slight scratch on the watch face, you can see it in the photo but i find it very hard to see it in natural light. IS this something that can be polished out or is it best just to leave it as it is.?

Thanks

It looks clean enough to me and not much to be done about the scratch. Just leave it.

I have had it valued online at £3500 so your figure of £4K for insurance looks good to me, thanks for all your help on this watch.

Now I have a decision, keep it or sell ?
