So I just purchased this Premier ref. 790 (yay!) and noticed something a little funny on the dial. At 9 o’clock, the running seconds subregister is almost perfectly right up against the outer seconds track, such that there are almost no fifth-of-a-second lines to be seen near 9 o’clock. However, at 3 o’clock, there’s a tiny bit of space between the chronograph minutes subregister and the outer seconds track, such that you can still see the entire fifth-of-a-second scale over there. Has anyone ever noticed this before / is this normal? Does it have to do with the subregisters’ placement in the movement being slightly off-center relative to the case/dial? Or was it maybe a printing error on the dial?
Thanks!
