Seems to me that even case back there were many different styles for the 806. Anything odd about this case back? Seems not the most common style I have seen.

Looks fine to me. The earlier casebacks have the 806 stamped into the metal, at it often looks uneven / unaligned. Not sure on the date but maybe around 1968/69 they went to the style you are showing where the 806 is larger and engraved.

Any reasons why some serial numbers are engraved above the 806 numbers but some serial numbers are below the 806 on the case back?
Or is it just an inconsistency back in the old days?
