This is my first post on this forum and actually the first Breitling I have ever owned. I recently acquired this Breitling Ref 769 in a large lot of watches. It was in the non original case, with no crystal, and was thrown in a jewel bag of loose parts watches
I would love to someday make this piece whole and am in the process of acquiring needed parts. I have noticed there are case marking on different ones I have seen and am wondering if cases varied slightly over the years. Pictures below show the black dial watch I have. Pictures following it show another watch I was contemplating purchasing to use for the case. Is this case correct and will it work?? Unfortunately it is missing the rotating ring and bezel. Maybe someone has one here??
