Did breitling ever make a "2914?" I know Omega did but can not find any reference in Breitling. The reason I ask is there seems to be quite a few for sale which I suspect as Chinese fakes however would they create a fake of something that never existed? |

no, no ref. 2914 existed (as far as Richter shows), lots of China fakes w/ that ref. on ebay |

Thank you for the replies, I suspected Chinese fakes although it does make me wonder why they bother faking them? |

Benno Richter wrote a book called Breitling: The History of a Great Brand of Watches. Its the only real reference but it has tons of errors in it and the collecting world knows a lot more now. |
