Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me the difference between a Breitling 810 dial that says “Breitling Swiss” vs one that says “Breitling Geneve”? Both dials say top time and are panda dials.

Thank you,
Ryan

Looking at this watch. Usually it says geneve under breitling.

Both are fine, both appear in catalogues. Assume the Swiss one came later.

Thank you for the quick response.
Any ideas on years for the later swiss one?
How do you know if someone swapped between the 2 dials?

Why would you care if a dial was swapped? No way to know - any dial could have been swapped over the past 50 years.

Its not that I care. They look the same. Just odd for a dial that is may be known to be on models from a certain time period to be on a watch from an earlier period or something along those lines. Seen it happen before and recently saw an odd Breitling Long Playing with a swapped dial even though the owner made no mention of it. Definetly not a deal breaker. Thought that maybe there was some story as to why the company switched between the two writings for these Breitling 810 and why I see the Geneve one way more often.
Thank you for the information.
