Hello everyone

My grandfather recently passed away and his Breitling was passed on to me. I have been searching around a bit trying to gather some more information on the specific model, but there doesn't seem to be too much information around. I was able to find some information about similar models in the catalogs, but can't find any info on this exact model. Here are some pictures of the watch:

From what I could find, the watch should have been produced between 1965 and 1966 as part of the top time collection. Curiously enough, almost all pictures of this watch I could find such as the ones on this site featured a white dial instead of a grey one. I only managed to find 2 pictures of seemingly the exact same watch at another forum:

In my case, the bezel is a bit scratched and it also seems like the crown must have been replaced at some point since the logo appears to be missing. Does anyone have some more information about this watch? The serial number on the back is 1119034

Thanks a lot for the help!

I have of course done that already, but couldn’t really find much info except for the white dial variant which is why I made this post in case someone happens to have some more info. But I suppose they just must have been made in different dial variants then.

Curiously enough, I am able to find lots of picture of the later sprint 2010 that features the exact same dial as the one I posted. For the sprint 2000 however, basically no pictures seem to be floating around of this dial variant.

The dial is called a “zorro” dial. The ref 2000 has different dials variations and the zorro dial also features in different references.

Your watch pictured here, but it’s not very common to be fair.
