Hello everyone.

I recently inherited a Breitling Watch. From my research on the serial number stamped on the back it’s from 1947. There is movement, and the watch keeps time, but I don’t think the chronograph is operation currently. Might just need a servicing because it hasn’t been. Wound or serviced in a long time I’d imagine.

I have been made a few offers on the watch, but to be honest, I don’t know enough about the watch to feel comfortable selling it yet.

Does everything look original and correct?

From the research I’ve done prices seem to be all over the place. I’ve seen 3500 up to 7000. Am I allowed to ask value in this forum? If so, what would the value on this watch be?

I can take pictures of anything you would like to see. And I will set the time to the selling time required and also do a time stamp when it does come time to list it.

Let me know how it looks and if you have any questions please ask. Thanks for your help. It really is a beautiful watch, but I’m just not a ‘watch guy’ and have other hobbies this will go towards.

yes, all looks ok here, dial isn’t stellar, so valuation somewhere between these two values, ca. 4.5-5k I’d say
