dial and hands are documented in a ca. 1974 catalog, mounted in a PVF ref. 2112, could well be mounted in later assembly ref. 2110 ![]() |

the 1969 cases were assembled by Breitling until the mid 70s. regarding this specific watch I would need to be clairvoyant to say that, but both dial and hands were rare and I personally have never seen them on the secondary market. |

I've seen this dial two times housed in black PVD-cases ref 2111. One of them i had in my hands.... serial 132xxxx. Condition of the case was "worn through", means the black coating was gone at some exposed corners. Looked like the watch was worn over decades. So i got the impression it is very likely that this dial /case combination is legit. But not 100% sure and in both refs (2110, 2111) hard to tell if these watches were assembled by Breitling in the 70ties or later by some guys... |
