Hello guys,
I'd like to know your thoughts and opinion about this watch, a nice 2110 full black dial.
This is not exactly the 2110 I was looking for but I like it, though.
Is this particular submodel more interesting in a collecting matter than the colored ones ?
Do you see any abnormalities about the dial / hands / bezel or movement ?
Thanks for your precious answers...

dial and hands are documented in a ca. 1974 catalog, mounted in a PVF ref. 2112, could well be mounted in later assembly ref. 2110

Thanks, Fred !
You mean later assembly by Breitling itself or as a Franken ?

the 1969 cases were assembled by Breitling until the mid 70s.
regarding this specific watch I would need to be clairvoyant to say that, but both dial and hands were rare and I personally have never seen them on the secondary market.

Then, this watch could have existed even if no proof can assert it.
You don't stick a "bullshit" on it ?

I've seen this dial two times housed in black PVD-cases ref 2111.
One of them i had in my hands.... serial 132xxxx. Condition of the case was "worn through", means the black coating was gone at some exposed corners. Looked like
the watch was worn over decades. So i got the impression it is very likely that this dial /case combination is legit. But not 100% sure and
in both refs (2110, 2111) hard to tell if these watches were assembled by Breitling in the 70ties or later by some guys...
