I have read some really useful information on this site regarding the transition from the mk1.1 to mk2. I am aware that some mk2 hands were the white thinner mk1.1 hands. I am currently looking at a mk2 with mk2 hands but they are white instead of metal. Have these been painted white or were there any of these issues as genuine. Of course I may be off the mark so any help would be gratefully received. |

Thanks Buddman. Do I leave the watch alone or possibly seek out correct hands for it? The dial looked good to my eye. |

Always best to have the correct hands. These watches are 50 years old and original parts are hard to come by. If you want to send me a PM with your details I can look through my spares to see if I have any. Dial looks great. |
