There should be a four digit code between a pair of the lugs. It's WWYY format, in weeks of the year it was made. You'll probably have to take it off the bracelet/strap to see it. Here's one of mine, the 27th week of 2016, which started on July 4th.

Hi friends, I recently bough a Breitling Chronomat 81950 and i m looking for its production year. I think its about 84/85 but how can i check it only with serial number ? Thanx for help |

You can't check year of manufacture by serial after '79, if I remember correctly. |
