Not being familiar enough with this model it’s hard for me to assess it. Stated as a 769 Chronomat with unmarked Venus 175 movement. Any thoughts would be great.

Inside caseback  None of the Breitling serial charts i could find seem to go back this far. They all seem to start at 1944 with a higher # than this. But that would make sense assuming this is supposed to be early ‘40’s. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I also wonder about the serial number. Seems to reflect early 40’s ... but is it typical to be stamped inside the caseback on these models or should it be on the outside ? Is it the original stamp ? Seems so crisp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
