Post subject:  Too cheap or a bargin? Top Time 2002

I have been searching for vintage Breitling for a time and have now "zoomed in" on a Top Time 2002 which I found on Chrono24. It seems quite nice, some patina on a subdail and around the "TOP". However, I am wondering if the quite low (?) price and the fact that is has been on the market for some time is indicating something that I am missing. What do you think? I would appreciate your insights!

Looks fine but price is high for a 2002 with a damaged dial.

Thx. What would be a reasonable price in your opinion?

I wouldn't buy one with a damaged dial. Its not a rare watch so best to just be patient for a good one to come along, and that asking price would then be ok. But who knows what will happen in the near and mid term with watch prices. Don't think they'll go up with a global financial recession.

It is better, but you can do better. Looks to have a bit of dial surface damage at the 4 and 6 markers. Look for one with the luminescent pips still intact on the dial.
