I have often stopped into the bulletin board when looking at watches and referencing fakes vs. authentic, but this is my FIRST post as a member instead of just lurking. Thank you ALL for the level of expertise you bring. I bought, after studying it here, a NOS Breitling Super Ocean 2105 that was part of the auction allotment from the Breitling estate. I am considering selling the watch and am going to be "that guy" and ask what its value might be. I will post pictures shortly. I recently had it completely serviced with all seals replaced. The face and case are completely untouched as well as is the movement. Thanks for any advice you guys can give. Jeremy |

This is a tough watch to value. The SuperOceans have become more popular lately, and that has prompted people to try and sell NOS examples for ridiculous prices - I have seen them listed for $5,000. I think that this is going to be a $2,000 watch in the current market, but you might be able to get more with patience. I would ensure that you provide movement and serial number photos when selling, it will impact the price. |

I was able to sell it to a friend of mine. Thanks for the interest. The benefit is that if/when he gets ready to sell it, I can pick it back up if I want it. Thanks for the help. |
