Hi all, Can anyone tell me which Breitling uses this dial? I’ve never seen it before. I’ve searched with no luck. Thank you |

Believe it should be a Ref 765 (or maybe a late 787 or 788 but I think 765) |

Thank you for your input. I looked at the references and just looked again through google images. Unfortunately, still can’t find the watch that accepts this weird dial |

Not sure it’s weird? Just google image “breitling 765”. For example: https://www.vesperco.com/soldwatches/br ... er-ref-765 |

Thats not the same. I found that same picture a bunch of times. The numbers near the bezel are different, the subdials are different. The hour numbers are supposed to not be there etc. |

By weird I meant mysteriously strange. Not ugly. |

Interesting. The seller told me its a “mint condition 815 dial still in the envelope.” He has a great reputation on ebay and is an extremely nice guy. But I agree with you that the dial seems unoriginal. |

it definitely isn't an 815 dial, no similarities at all script B & capitals Breitling would be correct from ca. 1948 to early 1952 - about 20 years before the 815 was launched ![]() and "Swiss T" in combination w/ that logo is pure bull |
