Hi all,

Can anyone tell me which Breitling uses this dial? I’ve never seen it before. I’ve searched with no luck.

Thank you

Believe it should be a Ref 765 (or maybe a late 787 or 788 but I think 765)

Thank you for your input. I looked at the references and just looked again through google images. Unfortunately, still can’t find the watch that accepts this weird dial

Not sure it’s weird? Just google image “breitling 765”.

For example: https://www.vesperco.com/soldwatches/br ... er-ref-765

Thats not the same. I found that same picture a bunch of times. The numbers near the bezel are different, the subdials are different. The hour numbers are supposed to not be there etc.

By weird I meant mysteriously strange. Not ugly.

Interesting. The seller told me its a “mint condition 815 dial still in the envelope.” He has a great reputation on ebay and is an extremely nice guy. But I agree with you that the dial seems unoriginal.

it definitely isn't an 815 dial, no similarities at all

script B & capitals Breitling would be correct from ca. 1948 to early 1952 - about 20 years before the 815 was launched ;)
and "Swiss T" in combination w/ that logo is pure bull
