I recently inherited my fathers Navitimer 806 watch. How do find out the year it was made and the value? |

There is a 6 or 7 digit number on the caseback below the 806 mark, or its on the inside caseback. Once you have that, google “Breitling serial number by year” to find our year of case production. Sorry for your loss. Dreading the day it happens to me..... |

sorry for your loss, but you may not find that 7-digit number under the ref. 806 - this would mean the watch is 1967 or earlier, serials are inside the caseback for these, any watchmaker (or any shop who replaces watch batteries) can open that caseback to check. IF there is no ref. number 806 on the caseback, it is 1954 to late 1955 (and quite valuable) |
