Hi. I’m just getting my 1965 806 serviced and a new crystal installed. I intend to buy a leather strap for it but I’m looking for a period correct buckle. I’d appreciate any ideas on how I could find one.

It was just a steel buckle. Not Breitling branded at all.

No way. Ha. Also been looking. The bay has sooo many really ugly looking branded ones. And the so called genuine (branded) ones for the 100’s could easily be fakes. Not branded ..... much easier.

Squinky has an eBay store and website. I picked up a period lizard band and period stainless buckle to go with my pre806 Nav. Prices are not too bad but inventory changes.
