Hi all. I’m in a dilemma. I had been looking for a nice 806 for some time. I knew of one but the seller wasn’t quite ready to sell. So ... i found another in the mean time (a year or so ago). Wouldn’t you know it but the original one I had been chasing for time finally came available within a week. So I bought it too. .
Now, as part of a consolidation, I think I will part with one of them but can’t decide which. The LIP is unique. And the case is slightly better. But, personally, I think I like the dial indices better on the other one.

I would appreciate any feedback on these two and opinions on which to hang on to. All things to be considered. Collectibility, condition, etc etc. Slide rule and bezel movement on both is equally smooth and firm.

I am not a expert as Kurt but hands on the first is changed in some time
But the Lip is more likely genuine

Based on the hands Both have new second hand as I can see
But again who am I

Thanks for the input. That’s interesting. I was wondering if the hands were original on both of these.
Can anyone else confirm?

Decided to part with the LIP. And it is going to a good friend with a passion for the 806. Will definitely keep the other one and .... I just found a re-issue. ... which I will get in a couple of days.
