Hi All,

I've just joined today as I've become more and more interested in vintage Breitlings.

I do have a couple of questions on the Chrono-matic 2112. I'm looking at the white dials and noticed that mostly the seconds chrono hand is orange but sometimes it is white. Which is correct? Is there a resource online where I can compare against authentic ones? I've also seen a variety of bezels, so knowing which are correct would be great too.

Lastly, if there are any owners on here, how do the 2112's wear? My normal minimum for a watch is 40mm but I notice that these have a fairly thin bezel and larger dial space. Do they wear bigger than 38mm?

Thanks and looking forward to digesting all the info on here!

Steve

not aware of white sweeps on the 2112, all catalogs show orange only.

2112 has rotating bezels (hour or minute vesrions), 2114 looks the same (and sometimes is marked 2112 by Breitling, assume parts bin error) but has fixed bezels, tachy, decimal and Pulsometer versions were produced.

it wears quite large

Brill - thanks Fred. I'll assume that the white hands aren't correct then.

Other than the damage to the bezel on the right side, does this one look OK? https://www.chrono24.co.uk/breitling/ch ... 616224.htm

Also, the minute and hour counters appear to be different shades. Is this common? I'm assuming one has been replaced...

Fairly priced I think? They also mention "offset of the needle of the minutes" I can't see an issue with the minute hand?

running seconds should be white, the minute counter hands seems repainted
can't see a hands issue

How does one look? https://www.chrono24.com/uk/breitling/c ... 879708.htm

I think it's all original and in good condition. Am I missing anything?

Description is pretty poor to say the least so I will ask the usual questions.

Thanks,

Steve

it MAY be a production error by Breitling, as it isn't the first time we see that, but 2114T w/ fixed Tachy bezel should have a non-Tachy dial, of course; two of them make little sense

Thanks again Fred.

I think I've found a 2110 I like. Does this all look correct? https://www.chrono24.co.uk/breitling/ch ... 525757.htm

As far as I can see it does but wanted to double-check before I commit to anything!

It's being sold by cal_11_ralph. Has anybody had any dealings with him? https://www.instagram.com/cal_11_ralph/

Thanks,

Steve

Hi guys,

It's been pointed out to me that my 2110 lacks T Swiss T on the dial. Is this common?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi guys,

Sorry to keep on about this but I'm trying to sell it currently and have been asked a few times about the lack of T Swiss T on the dial. Could someone more knowledgeable help me out?

Thanks,

Steve, I verified the watch too quickly when you posted it in March, a closer look leads me to believe it may be a service dial.
it not only lacks the "t Swiss T", but also the red print, "UPH" and on the minute counter, also the lume dots at the indexes are missing.
