Hi everyone!

Im in possession of a vintage breitling and its a family heritage.
But it so happens that i have very little knowledge on its specs and general info, as so i would ask anyone here with the knowledge if they could give info on this timepiece please.
I have information that this might be a Valjoux 92 movement, but nothing else.

Exact model and year?
Is the case gold plated or solid gold?
the estimated value of this watch?
any other comments or info which might be of interest?

Thank you in advance!

best regards

I don't think its genuine. Certainly the dial is not original and you expect a known reference number on the case back for a chronograph.

the person who had this piece never bought fake items, and the back case has a serial number on the picture.

i have uploade fotos of the inside of the piece.

And i have an email from the most renown watch dealer in my city and he sent an email with some of the specs of my watch after personally examining it.

No one is suggesting they knew it was fake, but it is. Sorry. The back has a ref number stamp, but there is no such reference.

i see, there is also a big chance that my grandfather had it custom made, is it possible that it would change the number?

Thank you again!

he may well have unknowingly bought a fake - this isn‘t a recent phenomenon.

in this case there really isn‘t the slightest doubt, this isn‘t a restored dial or a „Frankenwatch“ with some authentic parts, all is fake here; as said, that caliber was NEVER used by Breitling.
