Hi folks, I’m having trouble identifying this watch belonged to my grandfather, who was a WWII veteran fought in Asia Pacific region. The serial number on the back confused me a lot because I couldn’t find anything similar. Not sure when he got the watch though, but it was in his drawer since I was a kid. That style dial is post ww2, probably early 1950's. That's the reference number on the back. If you get the back unscrewed it should have a six digit serial number which will confirm the production date. Hands looked like they've been swapped. |
