Hi, guys

I had the opportunity some months ago to buy one the first models of Chronomats, the one with the slide rule outer bezel, circa 1942, but I did not dare, because it was not the one with stainless steel case and one of the small hands was not correct. Still not sure if I did well, since the price was quite reasonable, for what the watch means and is.

Anyway, in a complete style u-turn, now I have the chance to buy a Chrono-matic Transocean from the 70s, the one with caliber 12. No authenticity doubts here, all ok, and in a very good condition. Market price, but in the bottom side.

Just wanted to ask what do you think about this models, if you like them, any opinion or expert information to help me decide.
I love that blue hands, so I think I'll fall, but meanwhile would like to know things and opinions.
Is the same in this booklet, the blue dial one:

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, Fred.

The dial is amazing coloured, in my opinion. I'm one with love for blue dials, so I may be a bit partial here.

And yes, I like integrated bracelets, too, and this particular one is a very confortable model, as you say. I've seen in other vintage watches.

The only thing I don't like is that, as far as I could check, Breitling did not signed the small clasps of these bracelets/models, as used to do in other non-integrated ones with normal clasps.

Anyway, being origiinal, it's just a question of aesthetics.

That's really great watches, I own one of the blue dial and I love it.
As Fred said before, the bracelet wears absolutely great.
Yes, the clasp is not signed. Only "swiss made" inside

I’m a fan.
A watch that is still undervalued...
one to watch!
