A newbie poster here, longtime lurker. I've been researching early model Navitimer 806's and found one that I'm really interested in and that I think is legit. However, despite all the articles, forum threads, and pictures I've reviewed online, I still don't think I have the expertise to make the call on this particular model, there are just so many variables out there (and horror stories). I should say I think this one is from 1958, given the serial number on the inside case back. So what say the resident experts? Quality buy or disastrous decision? Thanks! |

So an update... they are asking $13K for this watch. Honestly, I was expecting to go up to maybe $7K, since aside from being pretty pristine, it's not one of the rarer model 806s. $13K is just too much sadly. |
