Attachment: Kit lunette 808-769.JPG My parts for Chronomat 808 and 769 bezel are available from now , do not miss them as initial quantities are very limited ! They have been redesigned according to original NOS Chronomat parts , CNC machined and manually adjusted . They cover all versions and case materials from Mk2 Chronomat 769 to the latest versions of Chronomat 808 , stainless steel, gold plated and massive gold . Initial non recurring costs and recurring manufacturing costs are significant, so they have a significant price, but I am sure that globally it is a competitive solution as it allows to have a complete and well working Chronomat with its smooth rotating bezel, just as it was made by L.G. Breitling . 1st part = the shaped ring, made of high quality brass . It is requested for all versions Attachment: bague 808-769.JPG 2nd part = the flat ring , made of stainless steel . It is not requested in all cases Attachment: anneau 808-769.JPG Very late stainless steel Chronomat 808 bezel have an integrated lip , so the flat ring is not requested in this case . On earlier Chronomat 808 and Chronomat 769 , a steel flat ring is snapped into the bezel . If you have one, normally you can keep it if it is not too oxydised , but if you try to abrase it you will reduce the thickness and create excessive gap and loose rotation . Successfully fitted on my Chronomat 808 which unhappily has a tired dial, and on a project gold plated Chronomat 769 dated 1947 . |
