Post subject:  Highest priced vintage Breitling on ebay?
In case you missed it, the rarest of rare vintage Breitlings went for $9500.00 on eBay Saturday. A 50s 18K gold Breitling Duograph with split function - 2 second sweep hands. I have only seen one other on eBay and that was several years ago. I do not remember the price that one went for but I think this is the highest $$$$ vintage Breitling price I have seen. IF you know of another, let me know. Craig
PS - note the movement signature on the balance bridge.

I was actually watching that auction - I thought I might get a bargain for a while - it was only at $4k with not much time to go, but then things got a little silly. It's a very nice piece, but too rich for me at that price.

Looked at a lot of Breitlings on this sight - I wouldn't touch any of them with a 10 foot pole. Please advise warning to all. If you want details, send me a personal email. Craig
