Hi.This was on eBayrecently.
Is the bezel correct or is it off a sprint or similar?

Hi, the description of the watch should be either 765 avi or 765 cp. So a bit difficult to say if it is correct. Because if the watch is an 765 avi it is not correct, these models came with a steel bezel. If it is a 765 cp i can be a correct bezel as the bezel on the cp could be double scaled, black and silver or single scale black. Please note the material of the bezel changed when avi changed to cp, from steel to aluminium. Don’t think that this could come of another model as the avi and cp cases were quite large and don’t think there was anything with a similar case size in the Breitling collection. However Breitling did use the double scale black silver bezels on different models.

Many thanks for the replies, I knew it would be comprehensive! The original seller covered all the bases as the watch was described as 765 CP AVI Co Pilot Jean Claude Killy.

Clearly this is not all of those!
This forum (Dracha in particular) was responsible for identifying the JCK.

See on the Pult side , same bezel size !
Pult bezels have an anodized scale either brown or dark blue . On some blue Pults, anodized scale can be so dark that it looks black. It would not be impossible to have it common to Pult and CP .

I think I asked this question a while ago and was told they were different sizes?

believe me, I tried the pult bezels as the 765 bezels are very hard to find
but the pult bezel is both thinner and smaller and wont fit the 765 case

if you need a 765 bezel your best bet is the stainless 765 AVI bezel that is sometimes offered on eBay
