that (very late!) dial type is only marked Swiss on all the examples I've seen, both on Chrono-Matic and Datora |

I just picked this for somewhat less than WOK prices but it obviously needs some work. Can anyone recommend a suitable UK-based watchmaker? I've used Andy Leftley for military watches; not sure if he does civilian models.

Ask Andy if he has experience with the Venus 178 movement. If so, he might be ok, depending on the state of it. Your issue will be finding a new pusher - won't be able to match the old and unless you already have one, replace both so they match, paying attention to trying for a short/fat pusher cap. Hands look trashed - I can maybe help with that. |
