I've just bought a 1940s Brietling with a venus 175 movement. The advert says watch runs well but chronograph needs a service. In the past I've jused Stephen Burrage to work on my watches and I've been very happy but he is retiring. Can people recommend anybody else? |

This is proving to be more difficult than I thought. Some don't want to work on watches that old and say no parts are available. The parts bit I expected but I've spoken to one person that sounds hopeful - peterrobertswatches.com but waiting to hear back from the other emails I've fired off. |

Message just back from the chap that is servicing my watch "I have had a look at your Breitling - it is a very nice example of the model. It requires a full service ... new minute recorder jump spring" I'm pretty happy with that so a big thank you to Rene van den Nieuwenhuijzen for the watch being as described in the advert. |
