This is the latest Breitling restoration that I will be working on in the next couple of months. This one is about as bad as it gets before its not recoverable so it will be a challenge for sure. Hard to imagine that it was still usable with the crown worn down this much! It belonged to the owners father in WWII and he used it on bombing runs over Germany. I will post some pictures when its finished. Thought you would like to see it. Craig

I'll absolutely keep an eye on this post every now and then. I agree, this is probably just on the border what's possible to restore - but it'll be very interesting to see what you can do! I've seen some great work from you with your pics earlier, so I really look forward to this project!

Craig,

I've heard about your work, and now I look forward to seeing it, that is certainly going to be a challenge.

Just one request - please don't sell it without at least letting me know first - it might just look even better on my wrist!
